Oscar Mayer is expanding its so-called WienerFleet ahead of a July 4th celebration for its new line of hot dogs. The fleet, which currently consists of the iconic Wienermobile, WienerMini and WienerRover, will now include the new WienerDrone and WienerCycle.

Oscar Mayer says the new vehicles coincide with a recently announced recipe overhaul to remove all added nitrates and nitrites, by-products and artificial preservatives from the meat in its entire line of hot dogs. Oscar Mayer is now going to great lengths all summer long to get the new hot dogs in hands across America.

“We knew that was a job for more than just our existing Wienermobile,” comments Greg Guidotti, head of marketing at Oscar Mayer. “So, we’ve expanded our Oscar Mayer fleet, ensuring every American can taste the new recipe because we believe everyone deserves a better hot dog.”

The new WienerDrone and WienerCycle are fully equipped vehicles specifically built to deliver the new Oscar Mayer hot dogs. Oscar Mayer says WienerDrone is the first unmanned hot-dog-carrying aircraft designed for remote location delivery, and the WienerCycle is a three-wheeled moped, ideal for tricky urban deliveries, traveling on land with a sidecar that doubles as a hot dog warming station.

The five unique vehicles in WienerFleet will set off on a journey to no better place than Weiner, Ark., for a Fourth of July celebration.
