A bill limiting police usage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is on the table for the Indiana state legislature.
The bill was introduced by state Rep. Eric Koch, R-Bedford. It was scheduled to be heard yesterday morning by the House Committee on Courts and Criminal Procedure, according to an article on theINDYchannel.com.
The article notes that the bill ‘would strictly regulate police use of unmanned aircraft and prohibit their use to conduct surveillance without a court warrant.’
