Allied World North America, part of Allied World Assurance Co. Holdings AG, is expanding its risk management offerings to policyholders to include access to discounted unmanned aircraft system (UAS) services through drone services provider DataWing Global.
Allied World is a global provider of property, casualty, and specialty insurance and reinsurance solutions. According to the insurer, DataWing can help companies monitor the costs and benefits of operating a drone program, determine the best way to incorporate or maintain a successful program, stay informed on UAS technology and federal regulations, and develop flight plans.
Based in San Antonio and led by former U.S. Air Force fighter pilots, DataWing specializes in aviation management and offers end-to-end solutions for data collection, processing and analysis.
“We are very pleased to partner with DataWing to bring these new loss-control services to our customers,” comments Joseph Cellura, president of Allied World’s North American casualty division. “Our policyholders are using drones in so many innovative ways to improve efficiency and enhance their businesses. These new services will help them create sound risk management programs to meet the necessary safety and compliance standards.”
