The Nevada Advanced Autonomous Systems Innovation Center (NAASIC) is hosting its first-annual UAS Search & Rescue Symposium on Sept. 14-16 in Reno, Nev.
NAASIC invites stakeholders such as U.S. sheriffs and law enforcement agencies, search-and-rescue groups, emergency-management personnel, students, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) vendors and manufacturers.
In partnership with local businesses, NAASIC is holding the conference to showcase the uses of UAS for first response. The symposium will foster dialogue on how first responders use or would like to use autonomous systems and inform potential users about the technology.
