FAA UAS Symposium Rescheduled for June 3-5

The fourth annual FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Symposium has been rescheduled for June 3-5 in Baltimore.

Originally planned for Feb. 12-14, the event had to be postponed due to the government shutdown.

The event is co-hosted by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. Taking place at the Baltimore Convention Center, the event will showcase how the FAA is partnering with industry stakeholders to advance drone integration, and attendees will hear directly from senior FAA officials, government agencies, industry and academia on how drone challenges are being tackled today and what to expect in the future.

Once again, the FAA will also provide an on-site resource center to answer questions about airspace authorizations, waivers, the small UAS rule, and other policies and regulations.
