FAA UAS Symposium Comes to Baltimore Feb. 12-14

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) have announced the fourth annual FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Symposium, which will be held Feb. 12-14 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

According to the co-hosts, this year’s symposium is all about “getting down to business.” For example, the FAA will showcase how it is partnering with industry stakeholders to advance UAS integration, and attendees will hear directly from senior FAA officials, government agencies, industry and academia on how drone challenges are being tackled today and what to expect in the future.

Once again, the FAA will also provide an on-site resource center to answer questions about airspace authorizations, waivers, the small UAS rule, and other policies and regulations.
