The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is now accepting session proposals for XPONENTIAL 2016, taking place next year in New Orleans on May 2-5.
AUVSI says it is seeking proposals for technical and non-technical presentations, as well as panels or workshops. The deadline for submissions ends at midnight EST on Oct. 6.
Submissions will go through a peer-review process in the fall, and selected speakers will receive a complimentary, all-access pass to the show, says AUVSI.
At AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems 2015 in Atlanta, Brian Wynne, the association’s president and CEO, first announced XPONENTIAL, a re-branding on Unmanned Systems.
“XPONENTIAL encapsulates the tremendous growth and innovation in the unmanned systems industry, as well as the broad societal benefits of the technology,” he said. “XPONENTIAL will help the world understand the potential of this industry by providing a single gathering place where people can see and interact with the technology and systems that will soon become part of our everyday lives.”
