Gur Kimchi, co-founder and vice president of Amazon Prime Air, will be delivering a keynote at the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International’s (AUVSI) XPONENTIAL 2016, held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans on May 2-5.
Kimchi will address a general session at the show on Tuesday, May 3, at 9 a.m.
He joins other keynote speakers John T. Chambers, executive chairman and former CEO of Cisco Systems; General David G. Perkins, commander of the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command; and Michael P. Huerta, administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Journalist Miles O’Brien, the science correspondent for PBS NewsHour, will serve as the host of XPONENTIAL.
XPONENTIAL 2016 also will include a general session panel of industry stakeholders, including U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo, chairman of the House aviation subcommittee; Frank Kelley, deputy assistant secretary of the U.S. Navy for Unmanned Systems; Marke Gibson, senior advisor for UAS integration at the FAA; and Dr. John Cavolowsky, director of NASA’s Airspace Systems Program. The panel will be moderated by Brian Wynne, president and CEO of AUVSI.
