SPAR Point Group, organizer of the Commercial UAV Expo, has announced the conference program for the inaugural show, which will take place Oct. 5-7 in Las Vegas.
The program, comprising keynotes and plenary and breakout sessions, will delve into key issues faced by large-enterprise organizations when implementing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), including systems selection and integration; developing enterprise workflows, guidelines and policies; data management and integration; and legal, safety and regulatory considerations for UAS.
Presenters will include experts from AECOM, Balfour Beatty, Barrick Goldstrike, Bechtel, CNN, DPR Construction, John Deere, Pacific Gas & Electric, Shell, and the Small UAV Coalition. More information about keynotes will be announced soon.
Breakout sessions focus on UAS use in specific vertical market segments, including civil engineering and infrastructure, construction, law enforcement and emergency response, precision agriculture, process and power, mining, surveying and mapping, and utilities and inspection.
In addition to the conference program, Commercial UAV Expo will feature an exhibition of 100 booths. Exhibitors will share product introductions and innovations in 20-minute product previews on Oct. 5. The current exhibitor list can be found here.
