Florida Mold Inspections Company Brings in Infrared Drones

Miami Mold Specialists, a provider of air quality and mold remediation solutions in South Florida, has integrated infrared drone technology into its business, especially for helping assess hurricane damage.

The company says the technology – unmanned aircraft equipped with thermal imaging – allows technicians to be able to quickly yet extensively examine an entire building for excess moisture, humidity, water leaks, wind and water damage, and potential mold hot spots with a bird’s-eye view.

“As the demand for comprehensive mold inspections and mold removal services has been gradually increasing since Hurricane Irma, Miami Mold Specialists decided to launch this new state-of-the-art business division to keep up with our increasing client base, to stay on top of the documentation and images insurance companies require, and to allow our specialists to be able to get a big-picture view of the structure and any potential problematic areas quickly and efficiently,” says Marty Katz, operations manager for Miami Mold Specialists.
