Parrot and Pix4D have created an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) hardware-software solution designed specifically for the real estate marketing industry.
According to the companies, the Bebop 2 Real Estate Edition combines Parrot’s Bebop 2 drone with Pix4D software.
The system includes a Parrot Bebop 2 drone, the Pix4Dcapture app for accurate and automatic image capture, and Pix4Dmodel software for 3D modeling.
The mobile Pix4Dcapture app turns the Parrot Bebop 2 into a professional mapping tool by automating its flight for optimized image capture. Meanwhile, the Pix4Dmodel turns images into 3D models on the desktop or cloud.
The Pix4D cloud automatically processes images uploaded from the UAS – in turn, making models available to share online in only a few minutes. The Pix4D desktop gives control to the user, including advanced visualization, editing, measurement and video creation tools.
The Parrot Bebop 2 is a compact, lightweight drone weighing just 500 grams. It can fly for up to 25 minutes and provide 14 mp photos or full-HD videos via a built-in camera.
Parrot and Pix4D are offering two promotional packs – starter and advanced – available on Parrot’s website in Europe and North America.
The starter edition includes one Parrot Bebop 2 drone and a one-month license of the Pix4Dmodel software for $549.99. The advanced edition includes one Parrot Bebop 2 drone and a one-year license of the Pix4Dmodel software for $899.99.
