Delair Offers ‘Unlimited’ Cloud-based Drone Photogrammetry Plan

Delair, a provider of visual data management solutions for enterprises, has announced its “unlimited photogrammetry plan,” available through its cloud-based delair.ai visual intelligence platform.

The plan offers a fixed, monthly subscription fee to access delair.ai to create digital maps and models. It also manages the data on a secure and scalable cloud architecture, which supports additional functionalities such as data sharing, advanced analytics and annotations. The plan puts no limits on the number of users or volume of data processed on the delair.ai platform, providing a method for users to collaborate and share data.

The unlimited plan is available to users of the Delair UX11 fixed-wing drone, as well as the DJI Phantom 4 and the DJI Mavic Pro quadcopters. It supports a workflow from data acquisition to processing.

“Today’s drones are capable of capturing very large volumes of highly detailed data and images, which presents challenges both in terms of data management, as well as storage,” says Chase Fly, geospatial product manager at Delair. “The delair.ai visual intelligence suite allows users to easily create and interact with the digital twins of assets and derive meaningful insights from the images collected. This plan gives companies worry-free and simplified access to critical processing tools without significant upfront costs, allowing for cost-savings on user licenses or potentially additional servers. The monthly subscription is a predictable operating expense that simplifies the cost and accounting involved, while still providing as much processing capacity as users need.”

The delair.ai photogrammetry suite includes engines from both Pix4D and Agisoft. Users can upload geotagged images directly from a drone, tag ground control points, and adjust and stitch photos to create a range of photogrammetry deliverables. In addition to the core platform included in the unlimited plan, delair.ai offers a library of AI-based advanced analytics on a pay-per-use basis.
