Categories : Aerial MOB LLC and Quantum Spatial Inc. (QSI) have reached a strategic partnership agreement through which they will provide geospatial data solutions via unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
Through its cloud-based delivery infrastructure, QSI specializes in spatial data generation, integration, enablement and analytics for clients in areas such as natural resources, government, infrastructure, energy and public safety. Aerial MOB, one of the first commercial drone exemption holders, provides UAS solutions including asset/infrastructure inspection, film production, media and experiential marketing, and aerial 3D mapping.
According to the companies, both their clients will be able to access geospatial data to further mitigate risks and manage their resources.
Eric Woodyard, vice president of business development and innovation at QSI, says, “By aligning our respective core competencies, we are merging UAS remote sensing, geospatial analytics and machine learning to provide our customers with a turnkey geospatial intelligence solution that will redefine how the commercial UAS industry views remote sensing.”
