Global drone inspections and training company Sky-Futures is rolling out an online tutorial course to help potential commercial drone operators pass the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Part 107 course.
Focusing on material most likely to be asked in the FAA’s test, the course includes an “online ground school” package and quizzes generated at random from a 250-question test bank.
For the past two years, Sky-Futures has been offering unmanned aircraft systems training globally, including at facilities in both the U.S. and U.K. Most recently, the company established Sky-Futures Training Academy USA at Disaster City at College Station in Texas.
“This course was designed to enable an efficient learning process and a successful outcome,” comments Jay Forte, Sky-Futures’ vice president of operations. “Our critical understanding of safe commercial operations has enabled us to prioritize applied theory in the online content to capture baseline Part 107 competencies.”
