SimActive Inc., a developer of photogrammetry software for satellite and aerial imagery, including that from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has released the latest version of Correlator3D, which includes a completely redesigned aerial triangulation module.
According to SimActive, the software’s tie point extraction and bundle algorithms have been further enhanced. In addition, an added capability addresses problematic input data (e.g., low-overlap projects).
The release also features an alignment tool that automatically registers new projects to older mosaics and digital elevation models, as well as removes the need for recollecting ground control points (GCPs). In addition, a new semi-automatic workflow has been developed for GCP tagging.
