Paris-based drone developer and manufacturer Parrot is rolling out its “Parrot Professional” suite of tools for commercial end-use segments including agriculture, architecture, engineering and construction.

Based on Parrot’s consumer drones, the hardware available in the Parrot Professional line is simple to pilot, but the machines also feature precision sensors and advanced software connectivity. For instance, Parrot Disco-Pro AG is based on the Parrot Disco fixed-wing UAV but is customized for professional agricultural use. The package includes the Parrot Sequoia multispectral imagery solution, the Parrot Skycontroller 2 long-range remote control, the Pix4Dcapture flight-plan app, and access to the AIRINOV FIRST + online mapping platform.

Parrot Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling is designed for real estate agents, architects or any other professional seeking to create interactive 3D models, promotional videos or other media. The package features a Parrot Bebop 2 drone with Parrot Skycontroller 2 remote control, Pix4Dcapture app to automatically capture aerial images, and Pix4Dmodel software to process images and create 3D models.

The company has also announced Parrot Bebop-Pro Thermal, a solution that enables inspection and thermal detection companies, roofers, plumbers, building workers and others to obtain thermal and radiometry information live or in pictures. This platform includes a Parrot Bebop-Pro, a FLIR ONE Pro, Parrot Skycontroller 2 and a thermal app.
