Santa Rosa, Calif.-based Think Tank Photo has released its Helipak for DJI Inspire drones or other similarly sized quadcopters.

The Helipak is capable of fitting the DJI Inspire, the Zenmuse gimbal with three lenses, six batteries, two controllers, 2-inch x 8-inch tablets, extra propellers, and a 17-inch laptop and charger.

The company says movable dividers allow users to customize the fit of their gear in the bag. In addition, it features a contoured, tuck-away harness with lumbar support; a cutaway air channel; an adjustable sternum strap; and a removable, padded waist belt.

“The backpack’s [acrylonitrile butadiene styrene] twinwall reinforcement provides a rigid shell that protects sensitive gear from impacts, bumps and scrapes,” notes Doug Murdoch, Think Tank Photo’s president and lead designer.

The Helipak also features a large front pocket for auxiliary items; lockable zippers; internal, see-through mesh pockets for other accessories; a water-bottle pocket; elastic pockets on the shoulder straps; handles on three sides; and a water-repellant exterior. With all accessories inside, the bag weighs in at 8.5 lbs.
