Commercial UAV Expo Releases Report on Six Predictions for 2016

Commercial UAV Expo has issued a free report entitled “6 Predictions for 2016: UAV Experts Discuss Important Developments for Commercial Drone Applications.”

Commercial UAV Expo, organized by Diversified Communications, is a conference and exhibition focused on the commercial small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) market in North America. It will take place Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The report provides insights from industry stakeholders on the changes to come for the commercial drone industry in 2016, including the upcoming Federal Aviation Administration rules. In addition, the report covers developments in sensor technology, as well as approaches on drone safety.

Interviewed stakeholders include as follows: Dave Henderson, director of geospatial sales at Topcon; Jesse Kallman, head of business development and regulatory affairs at Airware; Colin Snow, CEO and founder of Drone Analyst; Lewis Graham, president and chief technology officer of GeoCue; Iain Allen, senior manager of GIS at Barrick Gold; Greg McNeal, co-founder of AirMap; Baptiste Tripard, manager of business development at senseFly; Dyan Gibbens, CEO and founder of Trumball Unmanned; and Greg Walden, senior counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
