AEE Drone Now Available at DICK’S Sporting Goods

AEE Technology Inc. has announced that DICK’S Sporting Goods will carry its AP9 personal drone in 530 stores across the U.S. over this holiday season.

The AEE AP9 is a quad-rotor remote control helicopter that acts as an aerial platform for a GoPro HERO & AEE action camera. The drone features a 3S 5300mAh battery and offers a flying time of up to 25 minutes.

The AP9 also has a “return to home” option; with the GPS properly calibrated before each flight, the drone will automatically fly back to a pre-determined point if contact with the transmitter is ever lost or if the drone is low on battery.

AEE says the AP9 regularly retails for $449.99.
