Event 38, an Akron, Ohio-based manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for industrial use, has partnered with National Air Services, a supplier of drone-based photography, inspection, and search and rescue services, as well as flight training schools.
Under this agreement, National Air Services, located in Auroroa, Ontario, will offer Event 38's E384 drone and proprietary software to clients throughout Ontario and central Canada.
The E384 drone has a two-hour flight time, carries a 1 kg payload and can cover a distance of 70 kilometers. Combined with an Event 38 custom optical sensor, the E384 can fly 1,000 acres in a single flight and provide orthorectified imagery and elevation models at a 2 cm level for agriculture, civil engineering, surveying and construction applications.
