Shenzhen, China-based DJI says it is opening another flagship store – this time, in the Hongdae district of Seoul, South Korea.
The five-story, 870-square-meter store, opening in March, will feature a full range of DJI’s consumer products. The company says its aim is for consumers to see, touch and learn firsthand about DJI’s latest aerial technologies.
On display and for sale will be DJI’s series of Phantom 3, Inspire 1 and Spreading Wings drones; the Matrice 100 drone; the Guidance visual sensing system; the Ronin handheld, three-axis gimbal line; and its latest integrated, stabilized 4K handheld camera, the Osmo.
The Seoul store is DJI’s second foray into retail after the December opening of its OCT Harbour shop near the company’s headquarters.
“We chose this unique location in Hongdae for its vibrant cultural backdrop that combines urban arts, Indie music and pop culture,” comments Frank Wang, DJI’s founder and CEO.
Highlights of the flagship store will include a lounge area; a customer-experience zone, where DJI pilots will perform demos; and after-sales support, where a team will provide technical assistance, help with firmware updates and make reservations for drop-off repairs.
