AUVSI, SAE International Publish Book on Autonomous SystemsThe Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and SAE International have co-published a book that explores autonomous technologies, how they are being applied now and how they may be used in the future.

‘Autonomous Technologies: Applications That Matter,’ assists readers in identifying profitable opportunities and avoiding costly misconceptions with respect to civilian applications of autonomous vehicle technologies. The book covers unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as sea and land vehicles.

Main areas of interest covered include sensors, automated driving, cargo and freight, agricultural applications, consumer robots in the 21st century, landscaping applications, unmanned maritime vehicles, UAVs in environmental monitoring applications, and privacy issues.
