TESSCO Technologies Inc., a U.S. provider of product and supply chain solutions to build, use and maintain cellular, mobile communications, Wi-Fi, machine-to-machine, Internet of Things and wireless backhaul systems, has signed a distribution agreement with Sentera LLC, a global provider of software, sensor and drone technologies to the infrastructure inspection industry.
According to the agreement, TESSCO’s customers will now have access to Sentera’s infrastructure solutions, including the OnTop Platform, precision sensors, and fixed-wing and quadcopter inspection drones.
“By seamlessly managing drone and sensor data then making it shareable and searchable, the OnTop Platform will help increase operational efficiencies when conducting tower inspections in the cellular, utility, gas and oil industries,” says Doug Dollenberg, vice president of TESSCO.
Sentera says its OnTop Platform works with any inspection drone or sensor and lets users annotate and tag imagery. Users can then instantly share the photos – enabling tower owners, builders, climbers and service providers to build a network of data points and unlock the data contained within inspection imagery. The company asserts that all imagery is saved to a secure, 256-bit AES + SSL encrypted cloud server and, once uploaded, is available anywhere in the world.
