To provide an introduction to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the career opportunities the field presents, Unmanned Vehicle University (UVU) will be hosting a three-day seminar in New York City.
According to UVU, ‘The Fundamentals of UAVs,’ held March 19-21, is a first-of-its-kind seminar designed to provide participants with a comprehensive intro to the technology, including high-paying job opportunities the rapidly growing field is likely to create over the next 10 years.
Phoenix-based UVU says it is the only university in the world licensed to offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in unmanned systems engineering.
“Our three-day seminar is optimal for people looking to increase their UAV employment opportunities, start their own UAV business or begin a career as a UAV pilot,” says John Minor, provost at UVU. “Plus, the seminar counts as four credits towards a university undergraduate or graduate degree program.”
The seminar, held on the 19th floor of the Regus Business Center on 340 Madison Ave., costs $1,999. Any active-duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces will automatically receive a $100 discount.
Participants will also receive a DJI drone upon completion of the course.
