Skyward, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of an information management platform for commercial drone operators, has released an eBook that dives into common questions on obtaining a Section 333 exemption for commercial unmanned aircraft operations.
The eBook, “Getting Your 333: Your Top Questions Answered,” includes the following topics: what is required to get compliant, how long the process takes, whether or not a lawyer is needed, and whether or not a pilot’s license is needed.
“One of the hardest parts of starting a drone program is navigating the complex and ever-changing regulatory requirements,” says Skyward, which has written more than 30 Section 333 petitions for its customers.
