SimActive Inc., a developer of photogrammetry software, has released version 8.1 of its Correlator3D solution.
The Correlator3D software is a a patented, end-to-end photogrammetry solution for the generation of geospatial data from satellite and aerial imagery, including from unmanned aerial vehicles. It performs aerial triangulation and produces dense digital surface models (DSMs), digital terrain models (DTMs), point clouds, orthomosaics, 3D models and vectorized 3D features.
According to the company, the newest version of the software offers improved filtering capabilities to remove objects from DSMs and manual options to modify local DTM topography. Also, SimActive has added a new system to track changes during digital elevation model editing, allowing users to undo/redo previous operations.
