Rocky Mountain College – a small, private college in Billings, Mont. – is now offering classes that teach students how to use unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
An article on thespectrum.com explains that Rocky Mountain, which joins several other universities to offer studies in the UAS field, recently added the classes to the aviation program in the spring.
The program was developed in part by Ryan Rojeski, a recent graduate and aspiring Navy fighter pilot, and student Joe Mutchler, a 13-year Air Force veteran, who both emphasize the need for students in this field.
