PrecisionHawk Inc., an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturer and aerial data processing and analysis company, has hired Thomas Haun as vice president of strategy and globalization.
According to a company post, Haun spent the past decade at aerospace and defense technology company Northrop Grumman and agriculture company Dupont Pioneer and helped “grow partnerships, increase revenue, and carry out successful business development efforts” at both.
PrecisionHawk – which operates from Noblesville, Ind.; Toronto, Ontario; and Raleigh, N.C. – is looking to expand its global presence, the article says.
A member of the Small UAV Coalition, the company recently developed a low altitude tracking and avoidance system, LATUS, to help safely integrate UAS into national airspace.
