Praxis Aerospace Concepts International (PACI), a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business in southern Nevada, has acquired the training portfolio of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) education provider Unmanned Experts Inc. (UMEX), based out of Denver.
Founded in 2011, PACI’s mission is to develop practical solutions for multi-modal-response robotics (ground-air-sea-industrial) and unmanned systems. The company develops and operates laboratory and field facilities for autonomous systems research, development, test, evaluation, deployment, commercialization and training. It currently serves over 20 clients globally.
UMEX’s solutions – which include online and instructor-led courses on aviation fundamentals, Part 107 knowledge preparation, ICAO-compliant drone instruction and telecommunications infrastructure specializations – will strengthen PACI’s portfolio of solutions. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“UMEX’s suite of courseware and robust learning management system enhances PACI’s portfolio of multimodal robotics training,” says Jonathan Daniels, CEO of PACI. “Together with our recently updated public safety and military curriculum, the expanded portfolio completes our commercial product line by providing an unparalleled capacity with a decidedly international flair.”
