Robotics start-up ZeroZero Robotics has announced the availability of its Hover Camera Passport drone.
With a maximum flight time of 10 minutes and a weight of 242 grams (roughly .55 pounds), the Hover Camera Passport is an “autonomous, self-flying camera that follows you and records your travel moments in 13-megapixel photos and 4K video,” according to the company.
“Safe, portable, foldable and easy-to-use,” says ZeroZero Robotics, the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) is enclosed in a carbon fiber cage, allowing users to safely grab it while it’s in flight.
The drone also features face-detection and body-tracking technology and can capture 360-degree panoramic video.
The company says the UAS has an MSRP of $599 and is available for $50 off if ordered before Oct. 27. The drone will begin shipping immediately.
