Photo-Rich Drone User Guide Promises ‘Jargon-Free Language’

A newly published book, “The Complete Guide to Drones: Whatever Your Budget,” offers a 144-page guide with more than 300 photos and illustrations for those who are looking to buy, build or deploy unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The book, published on May 1, was written by Adam Juniper, who says he has been operating UAS for years and heads a drone website,

Chapters include as follows: Drone Basics – Where Drones  Came From and What Kinds There Are; Ace Pilot – Fly Well, Fly Often; Building – Build Yourself a Great Drone for Less Money Than You’d Think; Powertrain – The Key Components of Any Drone; Photo & Video – From Micro-Cameras to Cinema-Quality; and Resources – Useful Bits and Bobs.

According to the back cover’s description, the guide “shows you everything there is to know about drones and multicopters in plain, jargon-free language and hundreds of clear photos and illustrations.”
