Contend, a company that specializes in creating, producing and distributing data-driven content to deliver measurable business results, has launched a drone cinematography service, Contend Aerial.
The new business offers Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified pilots, journalists and producers to create one-of-a-kind, on-location productions, says Contend, which is headquartered in Los Angeles and has offices in Chicago and Seattle. Earlier this year, the company received an FAA exemption for commercial drone operations with the DJI Spreading Wings S900.
Contend says it has already executed drone shoots for a major retail/fashion brand and beverage company. As a full-service content-creation studio, its also provides post-production optimization and editing for quick to-market distribution.
“Contend brings together licensed pilots, post-production and distribution in a new way – allowing us to capture unparalleled imagery that only an aerial platform can provide,” comments Steven Amato, CEO and founder of Contend. “Our Contend Aerial offering continues our promise to innovate and disrupt the traditional entertainment, advertising and media industries with the most unique and provocative storytelling methods available.”
