Nissan is now offering a Parrot Bebop 2 drone with its X-Trail X-Scape crossover SUV in the U.K.
Calling it an “unusual extra feature” to the car, the vehicle manufacturer says the drone will come standard with the X-Trail X-Scape so that “users on the move can capture amazing photos and video footage of their days out with their drone following them autonomously.”
The 500-gram drone, featuring Nissan branding, comes with a Parrot Skycontroller 2 remote control and Parrot Cockpitglasses headset, allowing for first-person-view functionality via a live feed from the aircraft’s 14-megapixel camera.
Nissan notes that the Bebop 2 offers a flight time of up to 25 minutes, comes with a backpack-style storage case, and features GPS and visual-tracking technology.
The X-Trail X-Scape Special Version pack is available across the X-Trail range on all N-Vision and Tekna versions as a 500 British pounds option.
