Following its inaugural show in Brussels, Belgium, in June, Commercial UAV Expo Europe is coming to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, next year.
The organizers of Commercial UAV Expo Europe, focused on drone integration and operation for large enterprise industrial applications, have announced that the 2018 event will be held April 10-12 at the RAI Amsterdam.
The inaugural edition of Commercial UAV Expo Europe took place June 20-22 at the SQUARE Brussels Exhibition Centre with more than 500 attendees from 50 countries, as well as 52 exhibiting companies.
“There are numerous small, country-wide events, but not before Commercial UAV Expo Europe was there a pan-European event that brought together the commercial drone ecosystem from throughout Europe to advance this groundbreaking technology,” comments Lisa Murray, director of the show, which is organized by Diversified Communications. “We are proud to have brought this event to Europe and excited to now hold it in Amsterdam. The city is easily accessible from throughout Europe, and the RAI Amsterdam is known globally as an excellent facility. The move to a larger facility and the date shift to April make sense for this event and the industry.”
The European event is similar in format to its sister show, Commercial UAV Expo Americas, which is taking place for the third year on Oct. 24-26, 2017, in Las Vegas.
“We’ve seen exponential growth at our Americas event, which will reach 2,500 attendees and 200 booths this year,” adds Murray. “We expect the European event to follow a similar growth trajectory.”
Registration for Commercial UAV Expo Europe will open in January.
