Portland, Ore.-based Aerial Technology International (ATI), an unmanned aerial systems (UAS) distributor, is now offering the Phantom 2 Vision Quadcopter with an integrated FPV camera.
The Phantom 2 Vision is manufactured by DJI Innovations, a company specializing in the development and manufacture of small UAS for commercial and recreational use.
According to ATI, the Phantom 2 Vision is a second-generation quad-rotor RC helicopter that enables precision flight and stable hovering. The UAS includes a radar positioning and return home feature, Wi-Fi range extender, intelligent orientation control and full camera control.
ATI says the Phantom 2 Vision relies on a GPS navigation system to maintain flight stability and an autopilot system that gives stable and fixed horizontal and vertical positions.
The company notes that the Phantom 2 Vision features a 14 MP FPV camera specially designed for use with the UAS. In addition to photos, the camera can record 1920 x 1080 resolution video at 30 fps. The camera is controlled wirelessly via Wi-Fi using the Vision app available for smartphones with Android or iOS, ATI adds.
