Alabama Senate Signs Off on UAV Harassment Bill

Alabama has come up with a new take on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) legislation, as the state Senate passed a bill criminalizing UAV harassment of hunters and fishers.

Democrat state Sen. Roger Bedford introduced the bill, which makes UAV harassment of an individual who is legally hunting or fishing a misdemeanor offense, according to an article by UPI.

Bedford claims that during a conversation at a legislative conference, he was told that animal rights activists in another state had been using UAVs to disrupt hunters and fishers.
