Canadian small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) manufacturer Aeryon Labs Inc. says it has opened a second office in the Waterloo, Ontario, region to enable the company to continue scaling all aspects of its operations, including research and development, manufacturing, and sales and marketing.
According to Dave Kroetsch, Aeryon’s president and CEO, the expansion – an additional 30,000 square feet of office space – is a result of substantial growth the company has experienced over the last few years. Kroetsch adds that the company is committed to Waterloo as its “primary base of operations.”
Aeryon, with more than 125 employees as of December, says it now has customers in over 35 countries. Notably, the company received a $60 million investment from Summit Partners back in October.
Dave Jaworsky, mayor of Waterloo, states, “Discovery and entrepreneurship are hallmarks of our community, and Aeryon Labs embodies those traits.”
All of Aeryon’s contact information will remain the same, including the company address: 575 Kumpf Dr., Waterloo, Ontario, N2V 1K3.
