Netherlands-based drone manufacturer Aerialtronics has announced two new distribution partnerships in the U.K.: MRL and Droneflight.
Under the partnership, the companies will develop a U.K. distribution network for Aerialtronics’ flagship Altura Zenith unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and product line.
MRL comprises safety, risk and resilience specialists who focus on developing operational solutions for temporary-built environments globally, such as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in London, the 2015 European Games in Baku and the Volvo Ocean Race in Dubai.
Droneflight has extensive experience in delivering UAS video and inspection services. The company is also collaborating on several projects that integrate the Zenith into emergency-services management platforms.
“The Zenith is a great platform, with the capabilities to perform in the real world – not just a sunny day. The quick-release payload system and broad range of sensors it supports give it a huge advantage in this market,” states Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Droneflight.
Aerialtronics launched its third-generation system, the Altura Zenith, in 2014. By collecting aerial data and processing it into valuable information, the Zenith platform gives clients insights into making smart business decisions, the company explains.
“As we continue to expand our global footprint, working with MRL and Droneflight will increase our presence in the U.K., which offers tremendous opportunities for Aerialtronics and the Altura Zenith,” says Jeremy Wigmore, CEO of Aerialtronics.
