Although the Brazilian World Cup has just kicked off, controversy has already come about as a drone has reportedly been used to spy on the French team.

According to a Football Italia report, Didier Deschamps, the team's manager, is seeking an investigation into an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that hovered over the private training camp in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil.

Although some players were reportedly laughing it off, Deschamps and other officials are concerned that the source of the UAV could have been the media or even a rival team.

The full Football Italia report can be found here.
