VirtualAgility, a provider of service-oriented architecture solutions, has introduced the VirtualAirBoss, an information-sharing solution for owners, operators, manufacturers and pilots of manned and unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

The system is a complete, flexible and expandable online tool to collect, store and manage all aspects of UAS operations data – from equipment, crew, flights, payload, analytics and billing customers, VirtualAgility explains.

The real-time information sharing and storage tool provides UAS pilots a virtual logbook, flight scheduler and data repository; UAS manufacturers a supply chain, maintenance and equipment certification system; and UAS owner/operators a flight planner, scheduler and record-keeping system.

After flight, the data elements that were captured can inform the billing system and automate much of the business process. The data is stored in a secure environment, keeping the data private and secure.

“No one else is doing this,” says Eddie Kisfaludy, CEO of SciFly, an aerial surveillance company in San Diego. “Bringing all these functions into one place and automating the administrative and scribe functions can free me to do what I love most: fly my aircraft to serve my customers.”
