Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Bill Heads to Committee in Georgia

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) legislation has come to Georgia with the introduction of a bill requiring search warrants or owner permission to fly UAVs above private property.

The bill has six co-sponsors in the Georgia House of Representatives and is similar to a bill introduced in March 2013 that was never assigned to a committee, according to an article by the Times-Georgian.

The new bill has been sent to the Judiciary Non-Civil House Committee.
