A self-proclaimed ordinary man in Colorado was not expecting to find a drone in his backyard in the wee hours of the morning on July 2.

CBS Denver reports that a man heard a beeping noise outside at his house in Brighton and spotted a GoPro-equipped unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in flight – and then crashing to the ground.

“What dummy would be flying around a drone at 3:30, 3:45 in the morning? It doesn’t make sense,” he retorted to the news station. The man reportedly does not do any activities that would merit being recorded by someone; he refers to himself as “just a working dude.” Interestingly enough, though, he works for a UAV manufacturer.

The vehicle, which was labeled with contact information, was returned to the operator, and no charges were filed.
