Someone has used an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to capture footage of what remains of the Costa Concordia, the infamously shipwrecked vessel still in the waters of Giglio, Italy.

According to a New York Daily News report, the ship is being taken away to Genoa, where it will finally be destroyed after capsizing and tragically killing 32 people over two-and-a-half years ago.

The UAV footage shows an aerial view of the ship, which is reportedly 2.5 times bigger than the Titanic and weighs in at 114,500 tons.

The video, posted to YouTube by user Francesco Marinari, offers an eerie glimpse of the rotting ship, as well as several boats that are pulling it on its five-day journey. The UAV hovers over the top of the vessel, completely motionless apart from the intact flags still blowing in the wind.
