Santa Rosa, Calif.-based Think Tank Photo has released the FPV Session backpack, which offers a shelf-like design for first-person-view (FPV) drone racers to carry multiple aircraft at a time.

Two to three racing drones can be strapped to the front of the FPV Session, and two to three more can be stored inside for safe travel. The backpack’s interior also fits a radio transmitter, FPV goggles, up to 15 batteries, an antenna, props, spare parts, a small to medium tripod and a water bottle. Folding chairs can also attach to the outside of the backpack.

“For all racers, having quick access to their gear is essential,” says Doug Murdoch, Think Tank’s CEO and lead designer.

The backpack, which weighs 4.6 lbs. (with all accessories), is compatible for carry-on for international and domestic flights, says Think Tank.

The FPV Session features YKK RC Fuse zippers, as well as 420D high-density and velocity nylon fabric and nylon webbing for durability in rough conditions. In addition, rain cover is included to protect gear in inclement weather.
