Tennessee’s Chattanooga Public Library says it is offering the public free classes on how to safely operate a quadcopter drone.

According to the library, instruction of “Learn! To Fly A Drone!” will take place in an arena with James Candan, founder of Flyght Zone, an indoor multi-rotor drone raceway opening soon in Chattanooga.

Adults and teens ages 13 and up – of any flying skill level – can sign up for one of eight Saturday-afternoon classes, running Feb. 6-March 26.

Chattanooga Public Library says the classes will teach proper flying techniques, as well as the rules, regulations, and Do’s and Don’ts of drone piloting.
