A pizza place in Mumbai, India, has come up with a type of delivery man who doesn't need to be tipped: an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

According to a report on Outlook India, Francesco's Pizza of central Mumbai used a four-rotor UAV in a test flight to successfully bring a pizza to a customer in a high-rise building about a mile away.

The article explains that the UAV was able to pick up only the pizza in its standard box, while a larger system would be needed to pick up a package that shields the goods from any outside disturbance.

While this type of vehicle can carry only so much weight, an eight-rotor UAV would be able to bring almost 18 pounds – that's a whole lot of pizza.
