The Pennsylvania College of Technology, an affiliate of Penn State, is offering a quadcopter technology course as part of its workforce development and continuing education program.
The drone courses will be held June 14, 16 and 21 for $179.
Participants will explore the fundamentals of drone theory and operation. The course includes three lecture sessions in which participants will learn the history and future of aerial technology, as well as Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and meet other drone enthusiasts.
After the completion of each classroom lecture, participants will learn basic quadcopter safety and flying techniques at three indoor sessions.
