Ohio College Aiming to Build UAS Research Center

Dayton, Ohio-based Sinclair Community College is hoping to build a research and development center for unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

The college has requested ‘$4 million in state funds to build the National Unmanned Aerial Systems Training and Certification Center,’ according to an article by the Dayton Business Journal.

The Ohio Higher Education Funding Commission, ‘a group of state education leaders charged with prioritizing college and university funding requests,’ has recommended that the project move forward with full funding.
