Through a new partnership, Swiss unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer senseFly is enabling an end-to-end data collection and analysis solution for Maptek, which offers software, hardware and solutions for the mining industry.

According to a news post from senseFly, Maptek will now be able to offer senseFly’s mapping drones – the eBee, eBee RTK and albris – along with its own Studio 3D modeling software, for North American customers.

Todd Packebush, Maptek’s director of I-Site sales and business development, says the combination of products will give customers “a powerful solution that is driven by not only survey requirements, but the in-depth modeling, change detection and data output requirements demanded by mining professionals.”

The agreement will expand to other countries in the future, says senseFly.
