MAPPS, a trade association of private-sector geospatial firms, will be co-locating its Fall Policy Conference at the Drone World Expo, held Nov. 17-18 at the San Jose Convention Center in California.

The conference will be moderated by John Palatiello, executive director of MAPPS. Speakers will include Bryan Baker, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) sales manager for Leica Geosystems; Jeff Lovin, senior vice president and director of geospatial services at Woolpert; Andy Nickerson, director of business development at Aerovel Corp.; Mike Tully, president of Aerial Services Inc.; and David Yoel, CEO of American Aerospace Inc.

“The MAPPS sessions will complement the Drone World Expo education program and will focus on preparing entrepreneurs, investors, executives and technical managers, as well as end users, to utilize UAS technology to its fullest extent and expose the challenges that await fledging operators,” comments Joel Davis, president of JD Events, producer of the Drone World Expo.

Attendees can add the MAPPS geospatial programming to their Drone World Expo registration for $95 before Oct. 1, $195 after Oct. 1 and $295 at the event. More information can be found here.
